DONE WITH TRANSFER 1

October 30, 2018

Hello all!!!
I've finished my first 6 week transfer in the field! I'm staying in Ayacucho, Peru with my comp Hermana Ruiz. She's going to finish my training. We're excited!

This week we held a night for recent converts and showed Coco and had popcorn and soda. It was fun.

We also had another ward activity with all different kinds of food and had a bunch of investigators attend, so that was awesome.

This week I killed another spider (or 10) and my comp was telling my she doesn't like it when I kill them and I told her "es en mi sangre!!"  haha! we laughed about that. You're welcome, Dad.

We also cleaned goat poop this week so that was fun. No pics of that, sorry.

I am eating parts of a chicken I never thought I would eat, Lol, Including the neck & intestines. But I refuse to eat the feet like my comp does because EW. haha

Also here's a fun fact.. there are a TON of street dogs here and sometimes they like to bark at you and approach you and look like they wanna bite and kill you. So when that happens, I've learned from my comp and other Peruvians that you reach down to your ankle like you are picking up a rock and they get scared and walk away. and lets be honest, most of the time there is a rock by your ankle so you could actually pick one up and throw it at them if you so desire. It's kinda funny but also terrifying, lol. I have yet to get bit so pray for me, haha.

I would include more about my week but I am out of time! lo siento! I know this church is true and even though missionary work is hard, I know that a year and a half is a short time in this life and that it will be worth it!  I will try to include more in next weeks letter.  Love you all! Take care of my fam for me!
