Transfer 1, Week 4!!!

Hola a todos!

This week was awesome. Last week for P-day we watched "Up in English" with Spanish subtitles and it was awesome haha, then we played handball and it was so fun.

Today as a zone we drove one hour on a windy road in a 16-passenger van to Huanta, to pick up our other two Elders there and then to the Cañones!! which are about another hour on a windy dirt road in this bus, haha, not a fun bus ride but oh SO BEAUTIFUL! the pics do not do justice. It was amazing.

This week I taught my comp how to play MASH which is difficult to do in Spanish but also hilarious. that was fun.

This Sunday we celebrated one of our conversos recentes birthday! he turned 12. so cute.

We bought freshly made panchapla this week and it was sooo good! It's everywhere here in Ayacucho and is apparenty native to only this city so I am going to enjoy it while i can, It's this super thin and hollow roll thing but amazing, super good with butter and jam.

I learned a great word this week. Calidad. It means quality. It's super easy to remember because I have such a quality dad.... or a Cali Dad. lol. okay sorry I thought that was funny, hahaha. Love you, dad!

One night we were walking a street we don't usually walk because it's far from our house and we saw a lady peeling potatoes. We offered to help and she accepted. We talked to her about church and the gospel and she accepted a baptismal invitation! It was super cool. We're gonna help her on Thursday kill her rooster I think? I honestly don't know. I'll keep you updated on that...

I LOVED GENERAL CONFERENCE AGAIN!! my favorite thing from these sessions were how much we heard about the nature of God! That was amazing, God is amazing, and perfect and eternal, and He wants to help us. He knows you by name and loves YOU.
