Feliz Año 2020!!

Dear Family and loved ones,

Not a lot has happened this week, I feel like.  Well, I mean, it was Christmas, but that seems like forever ago, ha ha. We spent Christmas Eve with the Bishop's family and Christmas with all the missionaries in our zone.  We ate pollo a la brasa, did a small gift exchange, and watched Toy Story 4.  I got a small turkey statue thingy in the gift exchange and cried watching the movie because I started applying it to my life and childhood -- bad idea.  But it was a fun day because I got to call my fam and practically be there with them on Christmas morning.

Other than that, it's been kinda a hard week because everyone is out of town or busy or has people over and don't have time for the gospel of Jesus Christ...but we're still out here, trying.  Luchando.  The mile count reached 9.6 yesterday.... and we didn't even run in the morning like we do 3x a week.  It's good though! We talk to lots of people & are getting to know our area better than ever.  I'm hoping that after New Years everyone goes back to normal and maybe not every single corner won't be full of a group of drunk guys having a fun drunk party.  My life is so fun and interesting!  I actually do love the mission, I hope you know.  It's an adventure.  Es lo máximo.

Catch you all in 2020!  Have a great new years, celebrating a new DECADE!!  I'll be here in Perú.😉
