This week we worked super hard! My new comp and I are getting along great and are truly trying our best at everything we need to do. We are both new and learning a LOT. It's great. We're gonna grow so much this transfer.
I forgot to mention last week that I ate cow heart and that Hna Ruiz threw a chicken foot at me. Just thought I'd throw that in here. Good times.
Also another random story... one day I got home from proselyting and there was blood smeared all over my leg! No idea what it's from or when it got there... it wasn't from me & I'm doing just fine haha. Super weird but it's great. Peru is wild.
I had intercambios with Hna Boyd this week on Tuesday and we killed it!! Two gringas (who are both new missionaries) contacted people on the street and taught a really good lesson together (answering questions and everything) all in SPANISH. I'm proud of us and I caught a glimpse of how much I rely on the Spirit to help me speak to these people and answer their questions. It was awesome.
We had a stake activity yesterday called Coros Navideños. Each ward sang and the primaries as well. I sang three times... and a solo once. Haha Peruvians don't have the best voices, but I loved every second of it. Especially the kids... QUE LINDA.
That's about all from this week! Enjoy the holiday season and remember to serve others!
In response to my question, how do you like your new companion?
ahhh so busy!!!! I hope you can keep sane during this crazy time of year!! my companion and I get along great and we're just figuring things out together. We have a healthy relationship. It's good because we're equal companions, and one isn't doing everything, yah know? also the language barrier is a lot smaller now that I can understand more and speak a little more. We're gonna be super close with time, I can tell.
