I'm an adult!!!

12/11/18

This week was my last week of Capacitacion! So I'm officially an adult in the mission. Whoop whoop.

This week Hna Ruiz and I lived it up. Meaning we did a lot of service and ate crepes. We explored a cute little ruins spot and sanded concrete and painted the downstairs of one of our members house. We literally sanded and painted for 8 hours... and it's not done. :)

We had an awesome activity in the ward for Christmas that went really well and had a great turn out. I'm glad our hard work was worth it!

We had a party as a zone to celebrate Elder Arenillas bday and for Elder Putt and Hermana Ferguson who went home. Super fun!

This week was also cambios...  and my companion got transferred to Lima in San Juan. I'm staying in Ayacucho, and my new companion is Hermana Valencia! She's from Bolivia! She is also from my same group.. meaning we started the mission at the same time!!! How crazy is that! We are both super new, just out of training, leading Americas 2 in Ayacucho. I'm terrified because I'm leading the area and introducing everything about Ayacucho to Hna Valencia. She is super sweet and loving and obviously knows Spanish so I'm excited to get to know her better and learn from her. Please pray that we will know how to be missionaries and have success up here!

Thank you all for everything! Much love!
