Starting to freak out

The weeks are flying by too fast, my friends.  I'm officially starting to freak out.

We had a great Multi-zone conference this week with a member of the Quorum of the 70, Elder Mathias Held and his wife, with all the Lima zones and with Ayacucho!  It was basically like a family reunion for me.  There was a leaders' council right after so a couple missionaries from the south zones also got to be there.  It was so fun.  Too many hugs and laughs and pictures.

My companion and I sang a duet called, I Will Go and DO (Iré y Havé) at that conference and Sister Held got up to speak after we sang and she was crying.  She thanked us for the music and for bringing the Spirit, so that was a cool experience.

I felt the Spirit a lot that day and learned so many things.  One being: that we need to 1) live worthily,  2) pray earnestly to be able to learn how to recognize and follow the impressions of the Spirit to become instruments in God's hands, and another being: we need to listen for the Spirit with the intention to ACT.

I hope you are all having a wonderful month of January and that everything goes well going back to work or school after the holidays.  Don't forget to put God first so that He can help you finish the daily to-do lists and responsibilities that you currently have.  There's a missionary here in Perú praying for you.
