The Unforgettable Trio

Oh my gatos.  It's June.   How is time flying by so fast?! We're on the downfall of 2019!  What the que.  I'm just trying to enjoy every moment before it's gone.

Well, I was just in the most legendary trio ever in the Perú Lima South Mission.  (Just ask any missionary here in the south part of our mission....they know.)  Hermana Legaspi and Hermana Pinos are the best.  They both have fun and outgoing personalities, so these past two weeks were super interesting, to say the least.

There were many, many laughs and memories made, and a lot of tears this morning as we sent Hermana Legaspi off to Lima.  She flies from Lima to Amsterdam, then from Amsterdam to Philippines.  She'll arrive on Wednesday!  So we had to pack all her things and prepare her for her long trip.

We are happy for the time spent with her, but also excited to work just us two....because the mission work is hard with three companions. It's a hard concept to explain, but there's a reason we go two by two preaching the gospel.

Ok, here's a miracle!! This week a whole family has decided to come unto Christ and be baptized!! We have been visiting them for a little over a month and they are GOLDEN. The dad is a member, a returned missionary, and recently is becoming more active in the church. He has his wife and four daughters!!! So this week three of the daughters will be baptized, because the parents are still working on finding a document so they can get married, and the youngest girl is only 6, so she has a couple years left before she can get baptized. But you guys, seriously, I have never been so happy on the mission than I am when I'm with them, sharing my testimony and answering their questions. They are the CUTEST. I'll send a pic with them.. the last one we took before hna Legaspi left.  They are my second family here. The sad thing is they live so far away, but it's okay!! I'm so happy for their decision to be baptized this week. Once the parents are married, the mom will be baptized too. She wants her hijas to get baptized when they were ready... and they're ready! So we were happy, and ARE happy.

So just wanted to say I love the mission and the Lord and I'm just happy to be here. Sometimes it's super hard and I miss the comforts of home, but I know that when I'm out of my comfort zone, I'm growing.

I love you all! Have a great week!
