Juana's Baptism

JAN 28: La Primera Semana de Cambio Numero 4 (the first week of the 4th Transfer)

Hola!!! Como estan?
We had a good week here in Ayacucho!
Juana got baptized!! She is so happy and couldn't stop smiling (well except for some of the pictures lol) and I'm so happy for her. She's setting an amazing example for her family.

The food, weather, and schedule are all pretty much the same as all the other weeks, haha. Not much to update as far as that goes.

We have an investigator who is SUPER SMART and knows the whole Bible front to back, which is awesome, except he talks super fast and I don't understand everything, haha. He loves to read, and he read the Book of Mormon in TWO WEEKS. like what?  And he's a 66 year old man with a job and a big family. Wow. #impressed He still has a bunch of doubts, but long story short I'm always dead tired and exhausted mentally after his appointments because he talks deep doctrine and asks all the super hard questions all in Spanish (obvio). SO that's interesting, haha.

I love walking into my apartment every day and being greeted by my puppies! Not really mine, but also yes. Love it.

Sorry but that's about all from this week! I hope you're all doing well and not forgetting about me, haha just kidding. Happy first week of February!

I hope youre having a blast in florida! I read your conversation with Delia and it was so cute. So proud of your Spanish, Mom! I couldn't be more proud or happy with the mom I have. Delia is like my mom right now here on the mission.  She's awesome, and makes us laugh. We have to come back to Ayacucho so that you can meet her and so that Dad can eliminate the rat that's always running across her roof! haha. She told me to have him come to get rid of it, hahaha.
love you momma

P.S. Sometimes when people die, they have this parade through the streets where a lot of people walk and drive all the way from el Centro to the cementary carrying the casket and playing music. It's kinda cool, kinda weird. Idk haha.
